Weekly Wednesday Weigh-in

Note, Jan. 22, 2017: Weekly Wednesday Weigh-in obviously hasn’t happened in almost four years. If I can summon the courage to do so, I will post this week’s weigh-in (Jan. 25). I guess I’ll have to weigh myself on the crappy, cheap scale my husband and I have been lugging around for years. But…accountability, right? 🙂

  1. I was just wondering, could the weather be of factor in gaining weight in addition to holiday feasts? I noticed that I tend to have a pattern every year. Gain weight during the holidays and I lose it during the summer.

    • I think that’s pretty common. I was just talking about this with a girl I met the other day at the animal shelter. She said it happens to her, too.

  3. Great job today. You are committed and encouraging me to do the same. It’s good to keep the weigh-ins to just 1 day a week.

    • I ask because I want to set mine at .5 lbs/per week, but this to me does not seem like enough. But at the same time when I strive for more lbs lost per week then I set myself up for failure. What is your take?

      • Hey! I am aiming for 2 lbs lost a week. My mom tells me that’s the rate at which you can effectively lose weight and keep it off.
